云南教育事业主动融入和服务国家“一带一路”倡议，加强同世界各国的互鉴、互容、互通，着力打造更全方位、更宽领域、更多层次、更加主动的教育对外开放局面。得益于云南省教育厅长期持续的支持和指导，云南艺术学院能够不断丰富人文往来的形式和内容，不断促进南亚东南亚域内艺术交流互鉴。此次展览以金属工艺为交流互鉴的切入点，“薪新相传·金石至交”2021南亚东南亚金属工艺作品邀请展用视觉化、无国界交流的艺术语言形式，拉近中国与南亚东南亚各国民众的人文往来，夯实构建中国—南亚东南亚命运共同体的人文基础。

The education of Yunnan province actively dives in and serves for Chinas "Belt and Road" initiative and promotes mutual learning, understanding and communication through international education exchange and cooperation. Thanks to the continuous support and guidance from Yunnan Provincial Department of Education, Yunnan Arts University could have the opportunities to enrich the approaches and connotations of people-to-people exchanges. With a focus on metal handicrafts, "Enduring Flames, Intimate Friends" 2021 Invitational Exhibition of China and South & Southeast Asia Metal Handicraft brings the people of China and South and Southeast Asia closer to each other, and consolidates the humanistic foundation of building China-South and Southeast Asia community in the form of visual and borderless communication.
